We offer Sunday school to every age of life and we have chosen to use the D6 Curriculum for our church family.  We feel it provides great educational material from Scripture while aiding us as parents and believers to accomplish the mission of Jesus for the Church: make disciples who make disciples.

Why we choose to use D6:

  • D6 is based on the principles of Deuteronomy 6:5-9 — love God, love His Word, and teach your children to do the same.
  • Most PARENTS are the primary disciplers in the home.
  • The CHURCH is the primary disciple making tool of parents.
  • D6 connects the church to home and families to one another.
  • D6 Curriculum is one of the most effective small group and Sunday School curriculums you can find.
  • Preparing the next generation requires preparing the current one.
  • D6 is committed to helping build believers through church and home.

The fraction 1/168 reminds us that the average student gets only one hour a week in discipleship—we say (as does Scripture), “It’s not enough!” The D6 curriculum provides solid lessons for teaching your students how to make wise biblical decisions about everyday life. It further helps the parents (and grandparents) reinforce your lessons while at home. See how the teaching guides (at church), devotional study guides (at home), and parenting tools (bonus items) help you implement the most comprehensive discipleship strategy.

  • Children's Ministry

Our children’s ministry serves those from Nursery to Grade 6.  We provide a secure, loving environment where they can grow in their relationship with God.  Our weekly Junior Church features worship songs, Bible stories, and hands-on activities as part of the fun.  We also have a yearly Junior Camp at Camp Minnetonka for a time of focusing on God, fun, and friendship.

  • Youth Group

Our teen ministry serves those from Grade 7 to Grade 12.  They meet Sundays at 10:00am and Wednesdays at 7:00pm where they discuss a lesson from God’s Word and have an opportunity to grow in their relationship with God and one another.  Other activities include the annual Youth Camp at Camp Minnetonka, Students Night Out Together, fundraisers, and many more. Each student is encouraged to Grow, Serve, and Go.

    • Grow in God's word and anchor their faith in the truth of the Bible.
    • Serve others through ministry opportunities in our church and community.
    • Go into the world and make disciples by telling others of Jesus' love for them.

  • Discipleship

As a church, we are tasked with fulfilling the Great Commission and one of the ways we do that is through Discipleship. We believe the model of investing in the lives of others can be found over and over in the ministry of Jesus, and we strive to follow His example of making disciples who make disciples.  We have several Discipleship groups who meet during the week throughout the community.  If you would like more information about Discipleship, please contact Pastor Jeremy using the information at the bottom of the page.
